How It Works

1. Schedule & Pay

Use our Scheduling Tool to choose a date and time for your e-waste pickup and pay the $50 flat fee through PayPal. We’ll provide links to add the appointment to your calendar, and we’ll remind you the day before with a text and email.

Please check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see an email from us in your inbox after you make your appointment.

3. Place Items Outside

On the date of your pickup, please have all your e-waste placed at a location outside your home before the time of your pickup window. Suggested locations include:

  • Your front porch
  • Outside your front door
  • Outside your garage
  • At the curb
  • Any location outside your home that’s easy to see from the street

Please note that we are unable to enter your home for pickup.

Accepted Items

We do accept the following items to recycle:

  • Desktop and laptop computers*
  • Flat-screen TVs and monitors
  • Printers
  • Smart phones and basic mobile phones*
  • Tablets*
  • Video game consoles
  • Home audio systems
  • Cords and cables
  • Christmas lights
  • Small home electronics, appliances, and electric tools except for microwaves, vacuums, or used cleaning appliances

*Computer hard drives, phones, and tablets are shredded and melted down by a commercial recycling center for metal recovery, completely and irreversibly destroying all data they may contain.

Not-Accepted Items

We do not accept the following items to recycle:

  • Tube TVs and monitors
  • Projection TVs
  • Refrigerators or anything containing coolant
  • Batteries
  • Light bulbs
  • Microwaves, vacuums, or used cleaning appliances
  • Oxygen machines
  • Large items not able to be carried safely by a single person
  • Anything that is not electronic waste
  • Anything not otherwise indicated on the Accepted Items list

Unfortunately, we must leave Not-Accepted Items behind if they appear in a pickup order and we cannot offer a refund for them, though we will still take any items that appear on the Accepted Items list. Thank you for understanding.

What Happens Next?

After we pick up your e-waste, we remove all computer hard drives and have them shredded and melted down by a commercial recycling center, destroying all the data they contain. We also have all phones and tablets shredded and melted down by the recycling center. We test TVs and appliances for functionality and then donate or resell working items to extend their lifecycles. Finally, we break down nonfunctioning items and take all reclaimable materials to the recycling center to deflect them from the landfill.

Need to Cancel or Reschedule? No Problem!

You can visit your Customer Panel after you make your appointment to cancel for a refund or reschedule for a later date. Simply enter the email address you used to make the appointment and then check your inbox for an access link.
